Phil Wood in Sept 2018 broke multiple land speed records on the Big CC Racing Turbo Hayabusa to achieve 271.8mph. The fastest ever motorcycle through a set of official timing traps in Europe. This speed was achieved over the flying quarter mile at Elvington runway in N Yorkshire.
Not only has Phil re written the UK overall top speed record but he has done so on a fully road legal taxed & tested motorcycle that is used regularly on the road.
This speed has also been done without the aid of of full or partial streamliner bodywork. Just good old fashioned horsepower from the Big CC record breaking motor / turbo package
